Unique art form “is all in the chilis”

Sante_Fe_cooking_schoolOne is accustomed to think of New Mexico as the quintessential wild and wooly west. Cowboys riding alone into the desert sunset, ponchoed Mexicans sipping tequilas, dignified Navajos wearing self-woven blankets and stalking the height of their pueblos like the ghost of Hamlet’s father in Elsinore.

The reality is that there were Europeans in Sante Fe 200 years before Captain Vancouver mistook the Strait of Georgia for a gulf.
